Job summary

AUTOKINITON invites applications for a full-time Maintenance position at our Meridian, MS facility. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing automated equipment, including robot programs and associated electrical and mechanical systems.

The maintenance technician will troubleshoot control circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and perform welding and general shop tasks as part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Journeyman card preferred.
• Experience with mechanical presses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate and modify robot programs for Fanuc, ABB, Motoman.
• Troubleshoot and repair control circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Trouble shoot and repair mechanical breakdowns using PLC ladder logic.
• Remove and install motors.
• Perform general shop and facility maintenance, including welding.
• Other duties as assigned.

This full-time role on 1 st shift is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Required experience:

• At least two years of experience performing the above listed duties in a Manufacturing environment.
• A journeyman’s card is preferred.
• Experience working on mechanical presses is preferred.
• Must follow all safety rules, procedures, and policies.
• Must be well organized, a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
