Go Store It - Self Storage is seeking a full-time Maintenance Associate in the Chicago area. You will walk properties daily, perform basic repairs, keep spaces clean, and assist customers on site to ensure smooth operations.

No college degree is required; a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed. You’ll be part of a team that values hands-on maintenance and visible accountability.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to perform maintenance tasks and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to identify trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that’s off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean: hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs: sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they're working.
• Help customers when they're on site and need a hand.
• Take care of the place so it looks right and runs smooth.
