GreenWood, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance on CNC equipment and facility assets. You will work with plant personnel to maximize equipment efficiency and support safety programs.

The role requires the ability to operate forklifts, use CMMS for work tracking, and provide reliable maintenance support across production lines. Strong math skills and a safety-first mindset are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to use CMMS to track work activities.
• Ability to assist in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
• Must have good mathematical skills.
• Experience supporting a positive safety culture.
• Ability to perform essential functions with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility assets.
• Conduct predictive inspections using vibration analysis, ultrasonic, oil analysis and thermography.
• Complete surveillance routes, lubrication and preventive tasks on mills, lathes, grinders, conveyors, pumps.
• Support work order repairs, inspections and adjustments on equipment.
• Develop, prepare and present recommendations and reports as requested.
• Maintain clean machines, coolant lines, sumps and organized work areas.
• Operate forklift and scissor lift; perform daily forklift inspections.

Job Description

Position Summary

The Maintenance Associate works independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. They will assist in all areas of production and facilities equipment and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

Position Responsibilities - Essential

• Perform preventive, predictive and other proactive maintenance work scopes for production (CNC equipment) and facility assets
• Conduct predictive maintenance inspections using predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, ultrasonic, oil analysis and thermography
• Complete surveillance routes, filter changes, lubrication and preventive maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery such as mills, lathes, grinders, conveyors, coolant systems, dust collectors and pumps
• Support the performance of work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments on all production and facilities equipment
• Develop, prepare, and present recommendations and reports as requested
• Maintain clean machines, coolant lines, and sumps
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and securely store equipment and supplies while ensuring housekeeping duties are completed as required
• Operate forklift and scissor lift and perform daily forklift inspections per required criteria
• Operate other machines such as balers, that compress materials into easy-to-transport bundles
• Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs
• Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
• Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a “safety-sensitive” position

Essential Skills And Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Able to utilize CMMS for tracking work activities
• Ability to assist in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment
• Must have good mathematical skills
• Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)

Beneficial Skills And Experience

• Post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate
• Proficiency with basic office computer software, and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts
