Job summary

Tosoh Quartz Inc. is seeking an entry-level maintenance support teammate to assist manufacturing maintenance. You will perform machine cleaning, non-daily upkeep, and help technicians with preventive maintenance, repairs, and basic troubleshooting.

Shift hours are 6:00 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, in our Portland, OR facility. You will document maintenance activities, update work orders, and support safe restoration of service while following all safety procedures and site rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand how equipment components and systems function.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, logs, and shop documents.
• Ability to use common hand tools safely and effectively.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine cleaning and non-daily upkeep to maintain safe equipment and work areas.
• Assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance and routine service activities.
• Support repairs and disassembly/assembly under technician guidance and document results.
• Coordinate and document maintenance tasks with shift leadership and update records.

Responsibilities include machine cleaning, non-daily upkeep tasks, and assisting maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance, repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
