Rural King is seeking a Maintenance Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment. The role supports routine cleaning, basic repairs, safety, and upkeep of the store and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms and fixtures, operating a floor scrubber, unloading trucks, stocking, and helping customers and associates. Competitive pay and benefits are provided with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the store and surrounding areas by cleaning floors, restrooms, breakrooms, fixtures, displays, parking lots, and exterior areas; operating a floor scrubber; emptying trash; and restocking supplies.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs, including changing light bulbs, addressing minor plumbing issues, and repairing damaged fixtures.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance needs, and malfunctioning equipment.

Store Support

• Assist with unloading trucks, stocking, zoning, and other store activities as needed.
• Provide friendly and professional support to customers and associates.
• Participate in cross-training and required learning opportunities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Exact compensation determined by factors such as geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
