Outbound Mammoth is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Associate to join our property team in Mammoth Lakes. You will perform general maintenance tasks, complete work orders, assist with upkeep of guestrooms and public areas, and respond to guest requests with a service-first mindset to create a welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge in building maintenance with a minimum of one year in a similar position or equal experience.
• Experience using hand tools and other tools to repair and maintain equipment.
• Knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen and carpentry with the ability to troubleshoot these areas.

Maintenance Associate (Full-Time) – Outbound Mammoth

At Outbound Mammoth, we are seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Associate to join our team and help create distinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. As an integral member of the property team, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay.

In this position, you will respond to guest requests with a service-first mindset, using the freedom to go beyond expectations and turn everyday interactions into moments of magic. You will also be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, completing assigned work orders, and assisting with the upkeep, maintenance, and repair of all areas of the property. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment while delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

Enjoy working as part of a team to assist other engineering personnel with routine repairs and preventive maintenance. Earnestly respond to guest requests to ensure their personal comfort. Take pride in our house and perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas while monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. Enthusiastically prepare for daily work assignments and review priorities and special projects. Responsible for maintaining appropriate time management. Hold the highest standards for proper use of all equipment. Responsibility for ensuring safety and security of the property, our guests, and fellow associates.

Qualifications

Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun! Experience. Must have basic knowledge in the building maintenance fields with a minimum of one (1) year in a similar position or equal experience, specifically using hand tools and other tools to repair and maintain equipment. Knowledge. Must have experience with basic diagnostic devices and training in general-overall mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, and carpentry knowledge and the ability to trouble shoot in these principals.
