Position Details

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Maintenance Manager or General Manager

Position Purpose

The Maintenance Associate’s primary responsibility is the quality and upkeep of the marina. This includes performing repairs, cleaning, and basic fixes to equipment and building systems, ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. The role requires professionalism and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g., ventilation)
• Provide high-level customer and guest services, expedite maintenance requests from management
• Perform minor repairs such as fixing locks and filling wall gaps
• Use hand and power tools for maintenance repairs and groundskeeping

Education and Experience

• Prior maintenance experience preferred but not required
• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Attention to detail

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds independently
• Ability to swim or willingness to wear a flotation device in emergencies
• Perform grasping, manipulation, hand & arm movements, and overhead reaching
• Flexible working hours including weekends and holidays as needed
