Job summary

Dungarvin in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Associate to ensure preventive, corrective, and renovative maintenance for assigned buildings, grounds, and vehicles in accordance with licensure and regulations.

You will participate in planning maintenance, coordinate external vendors, and maintain tools and documentation; on-call availability in evenings and weekends is required, with emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years experience in building maintenance including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repair.
• Ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residential homes, grounds, and property are well maintained and in good repair at all times.
• Participate in general maintenance planning and capital improvements planning.
• Assist in the coordination of the maintenance and repair of Dungarvin's fleet of vehicles.
• Coordinate and secure external vendors for skilled maintenance repairs.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is completed and maintained for all repairs.

TheMaintenanceAssociate'sprimary responsibility is to ensure that all preventive,correctiveand renovative maintenance needs of assigned buildings, grounds, and vehicles are completedin accordance withlicensure and regulations. Qualifications

• Mustpossessabilityto evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
• Musthave good decision-making and communication skills, be responsible, mature, flexibility tobeon-callasneed, and able to work independently and as a team member.
• Appropriate transportation and basic toolsrequired.
• Ability to be on call in eveningsandweekends
• Good communicationis key in this role.You'llrely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
