Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment, including HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, robotic, and PLC controls.

What does a Maintenance Associate do at Rinnai?

This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and installation of manufacturing equipment, as well as minor building repairs and small fabrication projects.

  • Location: 700 Hudson Rd, Griffin, GA 30224
  • Shift: 1st shift
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment including piping, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Connecting lines to equipment and performing minor building repairs.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance on all equipment, including HVAC systems.
  • Maintaining inventory of spare parts and supplies.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities to minimize downtime.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety practices.
  • Fabricating jigs and tools as needed.
  • Troubleshooting equipment with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, robotic, and PLC controls.
  • Documenting maintenance activities in our CMMS system.

Additional duties:

  • Performing other maintenance tasks as required.
  • Repairing and maintaining computer-controlled systems and robotic devices.
  • Diagnosing issues and repairing mechanical, electrical, or computer system faults.
  • Designing and servicing control systems, including robotics and PLCs.

Qualifications:

  • 2-year technical degree in Industrial Systems Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, fabrication tools, and welding.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and PLC controls is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical prints.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment safely.
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
  • Fabricating tools and fixtures, operating lifts, and using MS Office.
  • Robotic programming and repair skills are advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environments.
