Union Joints looking for a hard-working, meticulous Maintenance Associate to round out our stellar Facilities Maintenance Crew that keeps our anything-but-ordinary Joints hustling!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing highly diversified duties including cleaning, setting up, closing and maintaining facility to support the achievement of Joints’ goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performing a wide range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to cleaning floors, windows, tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Performing required light maintenance including but not limited to changing light bulbs, changing washers in faucets, and inspecting and cleaning grease traps
  • Initiating set up of tables and chairs for various functions
  • Assisting in an entire team effort
  • Maintaining personal health and sanitation standards
  • Reading and interpreting safety/employment manuals and other work-related documents
  • Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly facility
  • Performing other work-related duties as assigned
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee is frequently required to sustain contact and immersion of hands in water and sanitation solutions, and is frequently expected to wash their hands. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
