Sagora's Elison Independent Living of Lake Worth is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the community and equipment in good working order. This role involves completing work orders, changing light bulbs, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of residential maintenance experience, basic English, and the ability to lift 50–100 lbs and obtain a driver's license.

Qualifications

• 6 months of work experience in residential maintenance items.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for maintenance tasks (light bulbs, AC filters, painting, plumbing, carpentry).
• Maintain grounds, fences, parking areas, and community facilities.
• Inspect and maintain equipment (HVAC, appliances, tools).
• Update preventative maintenance records and track repairs.
