Sagora is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping our senior living community in top condition. You will handle routine tasks such as changing bulbs, servicing HVAC, and maintaining common areas to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in residential maintenance or related fields.
• Ability to work with sheetrock, carpentry, plumbing and painting tasks.
• Read, write and speak English; communicate with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as assigned by Maintenance Director; replace bulbs, filters and fixtures.
• Assist in grounds, equipment, and facility upkeep including HVAC, pools, and lifts.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and use work order system.
• Conduct daily inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety.
• Assist with after-hours maintenance as needed.
