Maplewood Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant/Environmental Services Technician on a part-time basis at Maplewood at Brewster. The team focuses on a safe, home-like environment for seniors, with opportunities to contribute to daily upkeep and resident comfort.

The role covers general maintenance, safety rounds, and collaboration with the Environmental Service Director to ensure cleanliness and safety across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledgeable of maintenance and housekeeping practices.
• Physically capable of demanding tasks such as pushing, bending, and lifting.
• In good health and free of communicable diseases.
• Able to use sound judgment and report issues accurately.

Responsabilités

• General Maintenance work including basic repairs and painting.
• Complete rounds of the community to ensure safety of residents and staff.
• Collaborate with Environmental Service Director to address concerns.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete work orders and train staff on safety, including fire safety.

Maplewood at Brewster is seeking a Maintenance Assistant/Environmental Services Technician on a Part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• General Maintenance work including, but not limited to basic repairs and painting
• Complete rounds of community to ensure resident and associate safety
• Work hand in hand with Environmental Service Director to identify concerns
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Complete work orders and train associates on safety related matters including fire safety

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Knowledgeable of maintenance & housekeeping practices and procedures
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
• Understand the practices of duties and responsibilities, through the utilization of sound judgment and the reporting of unusual problems/conditions
