Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities

• Respond to resident maintenance requests via the work order system and repair plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Perform daily light‑bulb inspections to ensure all public areas are fully lit.
• Maintain building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment.
• Keep storage and equipment areas organized.
• Carry out daily painting projects for common and office areas as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred: experience in janitorial or maintenance work.
• Required: familiarity with minor repair and maintenance techniques for structural, electrical, plumbing, security, and heating/cooling systems.
• Helpful: experience in building safety and hazard reduction.
