Maintenance Assistant - H (Maintenance)
- Follow maintenance schedules as outlined for each shift or area.
- Report all accidents or incidents to your supervisor immediately, regardless of severity, during the shift they occur.
- Coordinate routine maintenance services with nursing staff when working in resident areas.
- Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor, department director, or administrator.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and report any violations of protected health information.
- Attend departmental and staff meetings as scheduled or called.
- Complete daily work assignments and file complaints or grievances with your supervisor.
- Follow maintenance schedules and policies, including routine groundskeeping, facility repairs, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform tasks such as cleaning, replacing light bulbs, servicing HVAC units, and unscheduled repairs as directed.
- Ensure supplies are replenished and equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Follow safety precautions and assist with lifting heavy items as needed.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and assist in emergency evacuations if necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds and prolonged computer use.
- Work in a low to moderate noise environment and adapt to changing duties as assigned.
