Job summary

Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will help keep our facility clean and well-maintained, perform routine repairs, assist with grounds upkeep, and support the Maintenance Department as needed.

On-call coverage and emergencies may be required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Performing routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Assisting with grounds keeping and facility maintenance projects.
• Providing support to the Maintenance Department as needed.
• Participating in emergency preparedness and on-call coverage as needed.
