Job summary

Terrace Post Acute in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Department by ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and comfortable. You will assist with the operation, repair, and maintenance of boilers, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in accordance with standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years’ experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a valid license/certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience with boilers, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regs, maintenance practices.
• Licensed under current standards, codes and labor laws.
• Able to plan and execute repair programs and installations.
• Able to monitor direct spending and labor budgets.
