Job summary

Regency Laurel Hill in Grants Pass, Oregon, seeks a Van Driver/Maintenance Assistant for a temp assignment. You will split time driving residents and supporting the maintenance department, ensuring safety and comfort for our senior residents.

You will inspect and maintain community spaces, assist with repairs, and adapt to a flexible schedule to support resident safety and well-being in a caring, family-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license in good standing.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to assess safety and work independently.
• Compassion and interest in working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain common areas, resident rooms, equipment, and grounds.
• Follow and document preventative maintenance programs.
• Refurbish resident rooms between tenants.
• Assist with driving residents as needed.
• Work flexible hours, including on-call shifts for resident safety.

Temp Assignment

As Van Driver/Maintenance Assistant, you will repair and maintain our community, equipment, & safety systems while adhering to regulatory guidelines and testing protocol.

You Will:

• Maintain common areas, offices, resident rooms, equipment, exterior and grounds of the community
• Follow and document the preventative maintenance programs for the community and equipment
• Refurbish resident rooms between tenants
• Work a flexible schedule, including on-call, for resident safety
• Avoid loss, breakage, and waste of supplies and equipment

You Currently:

• Must have valid driver's license in good standing.
• Work safely and recognize/resolve potentially dangerous situations
• Relate positively and communicate appropriately with others
• Work independently
• Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds
