Chandler Creek Post Acute in Greer, SC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support daily operations and keep our 133-bed facility safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents and staff.

The role covers general maintenance tasks, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and routine inspections, with a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Join a team‑oriented environment that values quality care and reliability.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Compassion and respect for the elderly.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
• Ensure facility equipment and systems are functioning properly.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Maintain a safe and compliant environment in accordance with regulations.
• Assist with groundskeeping and facility upkeep as needed.
