Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant to join our community The Park Oak Grove. You will contribute to a safe, clean environment and support maintenance across grounds, buildings, and resident spaces.

Responsibilities include routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and assisting with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and safety procedures. A valid driver's license and ability to multi-task are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical school preferred.
• 2 years senior living maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and construction principles.
• Understanding of OSHA, fire prevention and life/safety regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and complete service requests for repairs of grounds, buildings, apartments, equipment and vehicles.
• Assist in preventive maintenance program execution.
• Work on HVAC, domestic water systems and pumps, refrigeration systems, motors, fans and electrical systems.
• Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance and deep cleaning of resident suites.
• Assist with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.
• Assist with resident transportation.

TerraBella Senior Living is looking for a Facility Operations Assistant to join our community The Park Oak Grove.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting with maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the residents, guests and team members.

• Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
  • Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects.
• Assists in the execution of the preventative maintenance program.
• Assists with working on heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems and pumps, refrigeration systems, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
• Performs carpet and hard surface floor maintenance.
• Performs deep cleaning and resident suite ‘make ready’ rooms as assigned.
• Assists with Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness Evacuation procedures.
• Assists with Resident Transportation.

• Two (2) years Senior Living maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must have basic technical knowledge (such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance) and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on mechanical and electrical equipment and possess a basic knowledge of construction principles.
• Must possess a general understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities and work independently.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
