HOURS: 11:00am - 7:30pm; Tuesday - Saturday

In this role you will:

• Perform routine cleaning and custodial maintenance duties.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpeted floors and runners.
• Sweep, wet mop, and dry mop tile, terrazzo, and other floor types.
• Operate power floor maintenance equipment to strip, wax, and buff floors.
• Wash, dust, wax, and polish furniture and woodwork.
• Repair and shampoo furniture.
• Make minor repairs to equipment.
• Clean bathroom sinks, mirrors, urinals, toilets, showers, walls, and floors.
• Collect, remove, and sort garbage; make bales or compact trash; wash garbage cans.
• Clean and maintain fixtures and equipment.
• Remove snow, sweep sidewalks and stairs, and apply deicer as required.
• Maintain grounds to ensure they are clean and safe.
• Maintain buildings and perform equipment repairs.
• Order supplies, maintain records, and prepare reports as directed.
• Recycle chemicals using appropriate machinery.
• Dispose of hazardous waste, including transferring waste from 5-gallon drums to 55-gallon drums.
• Label hazardous waste containers appropriately.
• Transfer clean chemicals from holding areas to pump stations.
• Adhere to biosafety and security practices and regulations.
• Overtime, on-call, or altered schedules may be required.
• Work with chemical/biohazardous materials following all safety policies and practices.

All you need is:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in OSHA compliance, hazardous waste management, and inventory control in a manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials may apply.
