Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Assistant at our Vallejo campus to support building, utility, and grounds maintenance, following a preventive plan and documenting activities for permanent files.

The position supports our mission of person-first recovery in a behavioral health setting. Full-time schedule (Thu-Mon) with day shifts; candidates should have basic maintenance experience and the ability to work independently while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• At least one year in general maintenance (institution or building), carpentry or facility construction, plumbing/electricity, or appliance maintenance.
• Must communicate, understand and follow directions in written and verbal form; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance/repair and modification of the building, its utility systems, and grounds; follow a written planned maintenance program on various mechanical, electrical, and systems equipment; document as required in permanent files.

Title: Maintenance Assistant

Job Duties: The Maintenance Assistant must possess the ability to perform a variety of duties, including assisting with the maintenance/repair and modification of the building, its utility systems, and grounds; follow a written planned maintenance program on various mechanical, electrical, and systems equipment, as well as the necessary documentation as required in permanent files.

Schedule

• Full-Time: AM (Thursday - Monday)
  • Thursday, Friday, Monday: 7:00AM - 3:30PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 10:00AM - 6:30PM

Qualifications

• A high school graduate/GED preferred.
• At least one year in one of the following fields: (a) general maintenance (institution or building), (b) carpentry or facility construction, (c) plumbing and/or electricity, (d) appliance maintenance. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate, understand, and carry out directions or instructions, both written and verbal, as well as work independently.

About the Campus: Crestwood’s program in Vallejo is based on a commitment to providing mental health clients with a continuum of care that puts them well on the road to recovery. Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs) provide psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure, residential settings with a focus on brief lengths of stay. Our Residential Care for Elderly (RCFE) supports independence, while providing health and wellness programs, managing both physical and behavioral problems, and promoting integration into the community.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range

$23.60 - $26.06 USD
