Responsibilities

The Job At-A-Glance:

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents. Responsibilities include cleaning vacated units, assisting with grounds maintenance, and handling requests promptly and professionally. Maintain quality workmanship, communication, appearance, organization, and reporting.

• Ensure property cleanliness, maintenance, and safety at all times.
• Identify and address potential liabilities.
• Improve curb appeal with managerial approval.
• Complete work orders professionally and clean up thoroughly.
• Maintain organized and safe shops and storage areas.
• Ensure exterior lighting is functional and oversee inspections.
• Set and meet project deadlines, updating management on progress.
• Follow all safety, legal, OSHA, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will:

• Have 1+ year of experience managing building systems in student housing.
• Have 1+ year of experience with building automation and life safety systems.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, be creative, and challenge the status quo.
