Job summary

Whitestone Care Center in Stroudsburg, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Director in keeping the Life Safety Code, facilities, equipment, grounds, and utilities in good working order. You will follow health, sanitary, and infection control policies and uphold the community's safety standards while supporting a team-focused environment and dependable maintenance operations.

Previous long-term care maintenance experience is preferred; mechanical aptitude is a plus,

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred.
• Mechanical inclination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring Life Safety Code compliance, and that the physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

Education/Qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

• Previous long-term care experience preferred.

• Mechanical inclination is a plus.

Shift & Wage:

• Part-Time Opportunity Available

• Shifts Needed: Days/Evenings

• Wage: $16.00 per hour
