Essential Functions of Maintenance Assistant:

• Assist in the care of the facility's physical plant and grounds
• Perform repairs as directed
• Collect and dispose of refuse
• Clean, strip, wax, and buff floors
• Ensure prompt snow and ice removal
• Help to maintain the physical plant in proper order

Qualifications of Maintenance Assistant:

• Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repair
• Plumbing and routine preventative care of heating and air conditioning systems
• Ability to receive verbal and written instructions
• Availability for “on-call” emergency repairs
• Valid Driver’s License
• Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication
