Do you enjoy fixing things, staying organized, and making a difference behind the scenes? Kingston Healthcare is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to help ensure our facility stays safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

This is more than a maintenance job—it’s a chance to use your hands-on skills to help people feel at home.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with general maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure
• Perform routine facility inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests to minimize disruptions
• Complete light carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping work
• Help coordinate outside contractors under the direction of the Maintenance Manager
• Maintain a safe environment by following proper safety procedures and regulations

What You Bring:

• Experience in general building maintenance, facilities, or repairs; healthcare experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of basic building codes and safety standards
• Clear, courteous communication with residents, staff, and vendors
• Physical ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform hands-on tasks throughout the day
