KPM is seeking an Assistant Maintenance to join our team at the Nashville, TN property. This is a full-time position, with compensation based on experience.

As an Assistant Maintenance, your responsibilities will include:

1. Troubleshooting and repairing residential air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems, and replacing appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, washers, and dryers.
2. Prioritizing and managing multiple work orders or service requests daily.
3. Performing preventive maintenance and examining HVAC units.
4. Conducting interior plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations, including fixing leaks and clogs.
5. Handling electrical repairs and replacing light fixtures and related items.
6. Performing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• At least 1+ years of experience in multifamily maintenance or a related field.
• HVAC and EPA certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
• Flexibility, dependability, and teamwork skills.

Physical and working conditions include:

• Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Work indoors/outdoors, including in extreme weather conditions.
• Availability to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule.
