Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe is seeking an experienced Building Engineer Assistant to help sustain our newly constructed luxury senior living community. If you have worked as a Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Assistant in senior living, a hotel, resort or similar large-scale property, your skills can be a strong match.

You’ll respond to electronic work orders, perform routine maintenance and repairs, and interact regularly with residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience in apartment, senior living, hotel or comparable setting.
• Proficient reading, comprehension, writing and mathematical ability.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Ability to work assigned shift which may include early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Building Engineer with preventative and routine maintenance as assigned including basic plumbing repairs, dry wall repairs, painting and general upkeep of the community and grounds.
• Maintain upkeep of common areas, ensure exterior sidewalks are free of debris, and assist with trash removal as needed.
• Complete the apartment make ready process in an efficient and detail oriented manner.
• Support resident needs by completing assigned maintenance work order tasks, assist with internal moves as needed.
• Assist with special event set up and clean up as needed.
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
