Job summary

Roswell Center for Nursing and Healing in Roswell, GA seeks a dependable Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe, functional, and welcoming. You’ll perform general maintenance, assist with light electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks, and support safety inspections.

The ideal candidate has hands-on repair experience, works well independently or with a team, and pays close attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• Background in general maintenance, repair and light construction.
• Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or electrical work is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the facility
• Assist with light electrical, carpentry, flooring, and plumbing projects
• Complete routine painting, patching, and drywall touch-ups
• Support preventive maintenance efforts and safety inspections
• Troubleshoot and report maintenance issues proactively
• Collaborate with staff to address equipment needs and facility upkeep
