South Roanoke Nursing Home in Roanoke, VA is seeking a knowledgeable Maintenance Assistant to perform maintenance, construction, and cleaning tasks around the facility. The role covers grounds, parking lots, and equipment inspection to ensure reliable operation.

You will paint, plaster, and repair as needed, and must be able to work independently, follow written and oral instructions, and make decisions on-site.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade or technical certificate in one or more major trades; experience may substitute.
• At least 2 years of maintenance, construction, or power plant work experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain grounds, parking lots, and equipment around the facility.
• Perform cleaning tasks in basement, storage, and utility areas as needed.

The Maintenance Assistant performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. They maintain the grounds, parking lots, and equipment. They perform cleaning tasks as needed in the basement, storage, and utility areas.
