Job Description

This role involves basic repair practices for buildings, including safety procedures, and the use of tools and materials in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades. Knowledge of electro-mechanical appliances used in homes and buildings is also required.

Knowledge of:

• Basic repair practices and safety procedures.

Ability to:

• Determine repair needs across various trades.
• Recognize hazards associated with the work.
• Use hand tools for different trades.

Physical Profile:

Applicants must be physically capable of performing essential duties, which include reading blueprints, inspecting buildings, matching electrical wires, mixing paint, listening for electrical issues, repairing plumbing, climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, and performing building repairs.

Selective Certification:

• Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
• Ability to lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance or equipment.
