Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing staff during routine tasks.
• Assist with repairs, preventive maintenance, refurbishing, and moving furniture/equipment.
• Maintain facility grounds and ensure safe, well-maintained equipment.
• Support safety inspections, tests, and drills as needed.
• Contribute to improving systems and processes to achieve better results.
• Ensure resident comfort and convenience through proper maintenance.

Major Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
• Assist with all repairs, preventative maintenance, refurbishing projects, and furniture/equipment moving.
• Maintain the facility ground.
• Ensure that the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
• Assist with safety inspections, tests, and drills, as requested.
• Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years’ experience as a building trade helper, apprentice or equivalent preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
