Job summary

The Wellington at North Richland Hills in North Richland Hills, TX is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform general maintenance and respond to resident requests through the work order system.

You will help with HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance maintenance, keep public areas clean and well-organized, and complete painting and storage tasks as needed. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401k with company match, PTO from day one, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work.
• Familiarity with minor repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems.
• Commitment to building safety and hazard prevention.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis responding to resident requests through the work order program repairing plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Performs daily light bulb walk around/inspection ensuring that all public area light bulbs are operable and working.
• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis for the building to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment issues.
• Maintains organization of all storage and equipment areas.
• Performs daily and as assigned painting projects for all common and office area
