Job summary

Brookview Meadows in Green Bay, Wisconsin, seeks a Maintenance Assistant to respond to resident requests, repair plumbing/electrical and appliance issues, and maintain HVAC and building systems. The role requires organizing storage areas and performing routine painting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial/maintenance; familiarity with minor repairs of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily maintenance and responds to resident requests through the work order program, repairing plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Conducts daily light bulb inspections to ensure public areas are lit and safe.
• Maintains building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment.
• Keeps storage and equipment areas organized.
• Performs painting projects for common and office areas as assigned.

Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis responding to resident request through the established work order program repairing plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Performs daily light bulb walk around/inspection ensuring that all public area light bulbs are operable and working.
• Performs general maintenance on a daily basis for the building to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment issues.
• Maintains organization of all storage and equipment areas.
• Performs daily and as assigned painting projects for all common and office area

Qualifications:

• Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful
