Job summary

Avalon Village is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping our community safe and welcoming for residents, staff and visitors.

The role involves assisting with the physical plant and grounds, with on-call duties every other weekend as part of a full-time schedule. Join our caring team and help maintain a high standard of living for residents.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting.
• Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful.
• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds to ensure a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for residents, staff and the public.

The Maintenance Assistant assists the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community’s physical plant and grounds ensuring a safe, attractive and enjoyable living environment for our residents, staff and the public.

Requirements
