Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to help ensure the smooth operation of our Newtown, PA facility. You will perform routine maintenance, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping while supporting a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to be flexible and learn new skills.
• Basic knowledge of preventive building maintenance, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping.
• Knowledge of HVAC helpful.
• Ability to problem-solve to benefit resident care.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Paint, plumbing, HVAC basic tasks as needed.
• Assist with groundskeeping and general facility upkeep.
• Work with the team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.

Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a long-term care and rehabilitation center in Newtown, PA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant to join our team! As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing various maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facility, including but not limited to: preventative building maintenance services, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping

• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively

• Demonstrate flexibility in order to meet the needs of our residents and willingness to learn new skills

• Support the team by working in a cohesive team-oriented manner and multi-tasking as needed

• Provide attention to detail in all aspects of work

• Utilize basic knowledge of HVAC systems

• Problem-solve in a manner that benefits the care being provided to our residents
