Job summary

Susquehanna Health and Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance Assistant in Columbia, PA to support daily facility upkeep. The role requires a high school diploma and knowledge of maintenance practices in healthcare settings; prior Skilled Nursing Facility experience is preferred.

You will assist with electrical, plumbing, and plant maintenance, use a zero-turn mower, and participate in post-offer background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma.
• Knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in nursing care facilities.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Experience using a Zero Turn Lawn Mower preferred.
• Experience Snow Plowing/Snow Blowing preferred.
• Experience with Electrical, Plumbing, and Plant Maintenance.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Requirements of the Maintenance Assistant:
