Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support our facilities in the United States. This full-time role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical skills to keep equipment running smoothly and safely.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues from schematics, keep records, assist in painting projects, and help mentor junior staff. On-call rotations with the Facility Maintenance Director ensure reliable coverage.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position requires a blend of technical skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining equipment, conducting repairs, and ensuring the facility is safe and functional.

Full Time

$19-$24 based on experience

Responsibilities

Rotating on Call Schedule

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Assist in residential painting projects to enhance the appearance of facilities.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external clients.
• Supervise junior maintenance staff or interns when required, providing guidance and leadership.
• Participate in center on call rotation with Facility Maintenance Director
