North Shore Gardens seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities, perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs, and ensure safety and customer service excellence at our Richmond, VA site. You will use CMMS to track work orders, schedule maintenance, and collaborate with the team to keep systems running smoothly, while also handling painting, fabrication, and documentation of activities.

This is a full-time role with 40 hours weekly and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and repair techniques.
• Leadership to guide less experienced maintenance staff.
• Welding and fabrication knowledge is a plus.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.


• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.


• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.


• Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of the facilities.


• Fabricate and weld components as required for repairs or improvements.


• Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.


• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work orders and materials used.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and general repair techniques.
