Job summary

Sagora is hiring a Maintenance Assistant for Parkview on Hollybrook in Longview, TX. The role supports the Maintenance Director in daily upkeep of the community—inside units, common areas, and outdoor spaces—ensuring safety, cleanliness, and resident comfort.

The position is part-time with an overnight shift, weekends only. You will handle work orders, assist with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance, while helping maintain a safe living environment for residents and visitors.

Qualifications

• 6 months of residential maintenance experience.
• Experience with sheet rock, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and lighting.
• Strong understanding of building and fire safety.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders as requested by the Maintenance Director (e.g., bulbs, filters, painting, plumbing, carpentry).
• Maintain grounds, fences, parking areas, and community spaces.
• Maintain service equipment, power tools, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep preventative maintenance records and use the work order system.
• Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment; promote safety.
