Job Description: Maintenance Assistant

Reports to: Director of Environmental Services

Summary: Responsible for performing all maintenance activities for the facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow daily work instructions efficiently.
• Maintain a clean & safe work area.
• Take pride in work completed.
• Take care of tools and equipment.
• Assist with cleaning snow debris from sidewalks as needed.
• Perform painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC tasks.
• Require good mechanical skills.
• Communicate well with residents, families, and co-workers.
• Ability to bend, stoop, stand & squat for extended periods.
• Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, regularly 75 pounds.
