Job description

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Gardens of Gainesville community.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around community grounds.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment, and vehicles promptly and cost‑efficiently.
• Handle tasks such as fixing wall/floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, appliance repairs, painting, refurbishing projects, HVAC, refrigeration, carpet and hard‑surface maintenance, and "make ready" rooms.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of maintenance experience.
• Availability to be on call and respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and code compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, and life and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
