Job summary

Maintenance Technician – TerraBella Senior Living

TerraBella Senior Living is looking for a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and housekeeping duties throughout the community grounds, buildings, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks to fulfill all service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment, and vehicles in a timely and cost‑efficient manner.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks such as fixing wall or floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, performing basic plumbing work, minor electrical repairs, appliance repairs, painting and refurbishing projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance, and “make ready” rooms as assigned.

Qualifications

• One‑year maintenance experience.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and code compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
