We are currently seeking a talented Maintenance Assistant to help us maintain our facilities and create a welcoming space for all.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of facility equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other essential systems.
• Perform routine inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing general maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in coordinating with external vendors and contractors when necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to maintenance tasks
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to facility maintenance.
