Job summary

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Director, and we are looking for someone dependable, driven, and hard working with a working knowledge of maintenance-related tasks.

Our goal is for the candidate to learn the responsibilities of the Maintenance Director to one day advance in their career.

Qualifications

• Experience with upkeep and maintenance tasks is preferred.
• Demonstrated dependability and ability to learn new tasks quickly.
• Comfort with using computer-based work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily room rounds
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety checks
• Carry out plant maintenance such as painting and repairs
• Coordinate contractors for outsourced work
• Use technology to manage work orders and inspections

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Director. We are looking for someone who is dependable, driven, hard working, and has a working knowledge of maintenance-related tasks. Our next Maintenance Assistant should have the cabilitiy of learning the roles and responsiblities of the Maintenance Director to one day have the opporutnity to advance in their career.

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for, but not limited to:

• daily room rounds
• daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety checks
• plant maintenance to include painting, furniture repairs, other repairs, or installations
• coordination of contractors for outsourced work
• ability to use technology for work orders and other cateloging of inspections
