Job summary

HutsonWood is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for our residents, team members, and guests in Indiana.

This hands-on role covers routine maintenance, emergency response, and system inspections across building infrastructure, with a focus on safety and excellent resident service. The ideal candidate has strong communication and problem-solving skills and can work independently while following facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Previous maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.
• Must read, speak, and understand English to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community.

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, team members, and guests.
