Company: Midsouth Steel, a leader in the erection and fabrication of structural and miscellaneous steel, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant. This is a full-time, direct hire position offering excellent benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Location: ON SITE

Job Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Maintenance Tech with all duties including troubleshooting machinery, performing low voltage electrical work, holding ladders, carrying materials, and learning on the job from the Lead Tech.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Punctuality and dependability
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Good computer skills
• Willingness to learn
• Knowledge of safety fundamentals
