Position: Maintenance Assistant

Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location: Albany, NY

A 308-unit high-rise in downtown Albany, NY is seeking a Cleaner and Maintenance Assistant to perform general maintenance duties.

• At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance.
• Experience in affordable housing or REAC inspections is a plus but not required.
• Hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical work, boiler maintenance, painting, carpentry, snow removal, landscaping, and appliance repair.
• Willingness to perform janitorial duties, including upkeep of common areas and grounds, and garbage removal.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift.

Pay and Benefits: The listed pay rate is hourly. Health insurance is available after 60 days of employment, provided you work an average of 30 hours per week. Enrollment requires completing the enrollment packet; benefits begin on the first of the following month.
