Job summary

The Advocate of East Boston is hiring a Maintenance Assistant for a part-time role that can grow into a full-time position. You will support the Maintenance Director in keeping the facility safe, clean, and functional, performing repairs, safety checks, groundwork, and equipment installation as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of basic plumbing, heating and electrical work.
• SNF/LTC experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director to ensure facilities grounds and interior are clean and functional.
• Perform general repairs and safety checks.
• Handle groundwork and installation of equipment as needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the facility.

Requirements:

• Must have a working knowledge of basic plumbing, heating & electrical work
• Must have SNF/LTC experience
• Must be fully vaccinated
• Previous maintenance experience
• 5+ years experience in industrial maintenance and building repair
