A DAY IN THE LIFE!

As a maintenance assistant, you will work closely with your team to provide coverage in critical areas. You'll be able to help ensure that the grounds are clean, help with inventories, and help with equipment inventory where necessary.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Technicians — Support shop technicians and leadership by assisting with varying coverage needs.
• Clean Equipment — Ensure the fleet equipment is clean by washing and cleaning trucks.
• Maintain a Safe Environment — Assist in keeping the shop and yard safe by helping maintain a clean environment.
• Safety Lane Inspections — Assist with safety lane inspections as needed.
• Complete Truck Inventory — Ensure that trucks have accurate inventories.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Employment with Smokey Point Distributing is contingent upon the completion of the SPD employment process, which includes a background check.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least one (1) year of experience in a shop environment.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE

• Salary: $17.00 - $23.80, decided based on experience.
• Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday – Friday; Overtime eligible.
